Default Double rank weekend, need advice on what's run?

I keep hearing spiritway, and understand the basic concept, rits spamming spirits and a few rao thumpers.

But for this weekend I am wondering. What else (besides the spiritway everyones awaiting a nerf for) is also being ran lately that'll let me earn faction as a low rank person.

thats gonna be about it. I would almost bet 8/10 matches will be spiritway.

Run some anti spiritway crap all weekend and you should be able to farm 4k+ fame. Or any other lame builds will be fine,

What's the gist of the spiritway build anyway? Thinking of giving double weekend a go, but I haven't done HA in many months.

Well, the only good group that isn't spiritway you can get would be LegoWay or Balance, which would most likely be r6+.
The only unranked group you'll get is hero/spiritway.

It's not particularly easy, at least in practice, for inexperienced teams to counter spiritway. Sure it might be easy enough for you, but in the OP's case I doubt building against spiritway will do any good. Imo, just play a build you like and explain to your teams that the best way they are going to get fame is to play the first few maps with high-pressure builds.

Oh yeah, have fun!

I gues a good counter against spiritway is para-spike and with para-spike other maps like the relic running and shrine capping is also easy so when you yust run a para-spike build everything will come fine xD

I'll ask a somewhat off-topic noob question here: Do you get fame for your first fight against that zaishen team or not ?

While spiritway (or sway) is the most common build out there, there's no way 8/10 matches will be that. Not even 5/10. I've been seeing a lot of balanced teams out there.

You want to beat sway? Take a Mez with unnatural signet. 'nuff said.

Take a mez with unnatural signet and pd or pb, an ele with wards, some skill that prevents kd like brace yourself on a paragon with da, or that eye of north monk skill. An antimelee curses necro, and some aoe, and a snarer for relic runs and capture points. Seems like thats about 5 slots right there + the 3 monks so in other words your entire party should be spirit-way counters.

I hope to try a IV Spike this weekend. Always wanted to. I think you will see para spikes and some form of a sin spike, maybe sinway. I like paraspike and legoways, a para spike will eat thru a spirit way. Necros cannot handle that kinda spike.

You will see a ton of spiritway....

Para spike will rule the world....

Spiritways are simple to beat anyways...I hope you all run them

Also balanced builds that are run correctly (key word..correctly)....will be pretty dominant

*edit* and chances of non-ranked people getting into solid teams to fame farm is none...to well...none. Unless you know someone....goodluck....

I hope people will run some normal builds this weekends.
I advice starters to run easy balanced build with SH eles.

Fun build, I played it a lot (earned r1 with it) and, indeed, not too hard. It's also rather effective seen the number of pre-nerf ritspike teams we smoked with it. we had something with 2 shockaxes, 3 eles and 3 monks.

I think a-net is gonna nerf sway and that a new meta build wil be made for the lower ranked ppl anyway farming fame in this weekend is possible for any one cause in the first double weekend a year ago I had made like 400 and for an r1 its much so gl to anyone xD
